Do you ride to the bike path with no seat belt on because you like to tempt faith? Well this might be perfect for you. I mean I pay less than a large pizza for this so I really shouldn't complain TOO much which is why I gave it 2 stars. I put this on my vintage mountain bike to convert from narrow bars. And given I only ride this bike on paved bike paths anymore I don't need I9 quality for that. Regardless, this thing is CHEAP. Its hard to believe its even aluminum at all, and the bolts? Oh man the bolts, they're hot garbage. This whole stem is hot garbage to be honest, but it will stay together for its purposes I have put forth onto it. I would not advise to take this thing on any even mild mountain bike trails. Flat rolling green trails? Sure, no problem. Anything with some gnar or where you intend to get even a little air, or carry a level of speed where if these let loose you'd get injured? Well in that case I wouldn't, but that decision is ultimately up to you.
