I *hate* leaving a one star review for these, but I’m hoping maybe it will catch the company’s eye. Bring back the old fabric for these!I bought my original pair in green back in 2019. I absolutely love them! They are one of my favorite things in my wardrobe. Cute, comfy, boho; fabric is a lighter flat chambray-style weave. Utterly perfect for summer. I have several oversized garments of various types from this company and they are all great! I get lots of compliments on them all.A few days ago I was walking around the house in my favorite overalls and the side got caught on a lever doorknob - *riiiiiip!* The back now had a small 1” rip! No worries I thought, I knew the company still made these, as I had been eyeing the brown pair for the last few years. This time I ordered both, the green and the brown.I was so disappointed when they arrived! Now they are made in a thicker, and much stiffer, sturdy denim fabric. This thicker weave may have prevented the doorknob damage, but gone is the breezy light fabric I loved them in! Additionally, the new green is very bright and more yellow as compared to the softer faded green color of my original pair (This can’t be attributed to the washings of the original pair.) I’m so mad at myself for not buying the brown and a backup pair of the green when I fell in love with them several years ago!Please YesNo, bring back the original fabric in these, it was the perfect version of this garment!
