Bauson glasses case is perfect for carrying in shirt pocket

reading for computer work (I'm a programmer so I need glasses that allow me to see the entire screen without changing the angle of my head) . That means I wear two sets of glasses and change them throughout the day as needed. I prefer to carry my glasses in my shirt pocket (sometimes also in a large trouser or jacket pocket). The glasses case I got from the optician usually lasts about 6 months before the hinge fails. I wanted a slightly hard case to protect my glasses from falls. Since the glasses case went in and out of my shirt pocket frequently throughout the day, I didn't need any hooks or anything to hold on to. The Bauson glasses case I am currently carrying is perfect for my use. It's not too big, my prescription glasses fit in it. I usually buy glasses with a large frame with a built in nose and my glasses fit in a case. My order came in two cases. The pair I bought had clear plastic for one case and smoke gray plastic for the other. This way I can also use a second prescription glasses case and I can quickly tell which case is which when I'm wearing both cases. You can look inside the case so I can see what glasses are inside. A lens cleaning cloth was also included. Well, while it's plastic and should protect your glasses from drops and splashes, it most likely won't protect your glasses if you're sitting on a suitcase. Or when you slip the suitcase into the outside pocket of your checked baggage and let the bag-crushing gorillas do their job (been there, done it). But the case appears to withstand normal falls and spills. I've only found one case strong enough to withstand heavier objects dropped on a pair of glasses (joke lens locker) and fit in a shirt pocket, but it's no longer made. It's also not big enough to wear glasses like my Rayban sunglasses for driving (only at a distance). If it were big enough to hold the boxed glasses, it wouldn't fit in a shirt pocket and my regular glasses would jingle in the case. But it looks like my regular glasses can be carried in a shirt pocket. Having just received it I have no idea how long spring will last. But at $6 a box, even if I have to replace it annually, it's still a good deal. As an extra, I was wearing a t-shirt, so instead of putting the glass in my shirt pocket, I could put the case with my phone in my pocket. When I bent down to pick something up off the floor, the glasses case broke. It still protects the glasses but I have to use super glue to connect the two ends.
