These ergonomic pillows support not only the back, but the whole body.

PERFECT! Exactly what I wanted and needed AND BONUS! Did you know that using a wedge while you sleep can relieve symptoms of certain conditions, such as heartburn and varicose veins, or prevent pressure sores? A wedge bed provides an added element of comfort and allows people suffering from pain and other symptoms to get a good night's sleep to aid in their recovery. The size and shape of your bed wedge will be determined by the symptoms you are trying to treat. I use mine for all kinds of things, like reading in bed. Remove the pillows from the top of the bed and place wedges in their place. I sit as upright as possible and place the wedge with the widest side down, the flat side against the headboard and the narrowest part up. Lie on it and it's way more comfortable than a bunch of pillows! I also use bed wedges under my knees to relieve back pain. The position is also suitable for those with varicose veins, swollen legs or tired leg muscles. Make sure the bed gusset rests on the bottom sheet and not the comforter as it can move at night. Notice how he mimics the position of raised legs? (Not to mention an adjustable back pillow so you can sleep in your own bed instead of on the floor!) Additional Benefits of Wedge Pillows: Some people use these lifting techniques to solve snoring problems, relieve varicose veins, or prevent acid reflux. A wedge pillow can be very useful for more purposes than meets the eye. Plus, they're great for helping those "sexy" moments when the pillow slips and slides.
