Review on Moen 186117 Magnetix Remote Dock: Convenient Chrome Holder for Handheld Shower by Dan Sturm

I have use with a shower chair. There are 2 mounting options: with self-tapping screws or with 3M double-sided tape. I chose the latter because I didn't want to drill through the fiberglass edge. Before installing I read the reviews and found that the tape mount is prone to failure. As a person who learns from the mistakes of others, I thoroughly cleaned the mounting surface twice with bathroom cleaner. I then rinsed it several times with isopropyl alcohol and let it dry. I followed T's instructions and made sure the area stayed dry for 24 hours. A month later no problems. now, after about 2 months, i notice that the device is detaching from the wall. So I ordered another double sided tape (Gorilla) and will try again. Mounting tape aside, I'm glad I bought this item.
