Review on All-Inclusive Craftikit: Engaging Arts and Crafts for Kids by Mario Anderson

Great idea with a couple of major flaws

I bought this set for my 4.5 year old who loves crafting. I love that each envelope has a sticker so she can easily choose what she wants to do without having to open each envelope. I like that all materials are included. However, tape and glue aren't the best. Maybe you need something stronger. We have done three projects so far. All three had issues with paper instructions (see image notes for more details). The order of the numbers has been disabled, instructions excluded, steps excluded, etc. The videos also do not follow the same instructions/sequences as the paper instructions. I would suggest watching the video first. Even with tissue paper sun catchers with butterflies and birds, the bird/butterfly will not be knocked out like the instructions and videos say. I had to cut them myself. Finally the bottom fin of the fish was printed/cut in reverse, see her picture at the top of the instructions (a fish picture my daughter made - she placed the fins creatively). Would I buy this again? Maybe. This is a really great idea and my daughter enjoyed it despite my frustration with the poorly written instructions. They really needed someone to edit their instruction sheets and help them with the layout. Coordinating instructions and videos is also a good idea. Here I sit with three projects that I have completed so far. I will update if my mind changes as we complete more projects.
