This compact, retractable tape measure is the most convenient item to carry. It fits easily in your pocket and purse as the case is only 2 inches in diameter. I really wanted this because so often I buy something at the store and need to know how long the item is and if it will fit a certain place in my house. I actually had to carry the items to the store's stationery department so I could measure them with a ruler. Now I can just pull out my tape measure and test it in place. This tape measure is very relevant as more and more items need to be measured using metric measurements. I'm far from an expert on these measurements, but I know the basics. I love that this tape measure has inches divided into sixteenths on one side and centimeters divided into millimeters on the other side. first inch. Just not with this roulette! Measurements 0-1 inch are fully legible. This band measures up to 5 feet, which is usually enough for me. If I need more than that, I have to use a non-flexible metal tape measure for such situations. This tape measure is made from a new, non-stretch and non-tearing (non-irritating) fiberglass tape. It is very durable and easy to read. It has no sharp edges or snags to worry about when measuring your body or thin fabrics. I love that it has a one button return that puts everything back in the plastic case very quickly. Everyone should have one or two of these compact measuring tapes.
