Purchased when moving into a new house
I dropped on my butt when walking down the steps of a new house. I thought I was walking on the floor and missed one step. It was because I couldn't see and was too damn lazy to turn the lights on. After purchasing these and laying them all around the steps, suddenly turning on lights is not important. Even when I enter a room and cannot immediately find the light switch they open a room for me. Incidentally when I fell on my butt it took me six months and physical therapy to get rid of what was diagnosed as damage to the Sciatic nerve. Good purchase and my wife can't live without them now.
