In my opinion it serves its purpose.
I specifically wanted a thinner wallet and that certainly helped. This was bought for me as a gift and if I had bought it I would have received it without the zip pocket which only adds thickness. It was a great gift though and I'm sure the zip pocket was seen as a bonus rather than a nuisance.
Pros
- Crafted from high-quality leather, the wallet is strong and durable and can withstand daily wear and tear.
Cons
- The wallet may not provide sufficient access to frequently used cards.
