Both headphones died 5 months after purchase

The first headphone failed 4 months after purchase. No sound, no connection on full charge, never gotten wet, dropped etc. Then another bud went out yesterday about a month later. Sometimes it was static even when it was next to the connected device. The 2 Year Protection Plan is a big deal because even after you fill out all the information, Asurion will simply direct you to call Revain 1-800. Get out of trouble. Don't bother getting it.
