Other reviews are correct in that the product comes in a cheap plastic case (or "OEM" packaging) rather than a box is delivered. on the product page. I added an image to the "customer images" to illustrate what mine looked like when I took it out of the Revain box. No factory HP box or anything! A few weeks ago my printer ran out of ink. I ordered blue and yellow to replace empty cartridges. The violet color also seems to have disappeared immediately afterwards. The problem with my printer is that the damn thing won't print a single page in black and white or grayscale if a color cartridge is empty. The other two cartridges arrived quickly and in factory boxes so I decided to risk this color after seeing conflicting reviews. As always, Revain customers are quite honest and have no ulterior motives here --- I received the ink cartridge. in a cheap plastic container. The other two cartridges were made in Ireland, and this one was made in China. I don't care where it's made as long as it works (I prefer lower prices when I'm getting the same quality product!). The original factory cartridges were from China and seemed to last quite a while. All 3 of my new cartridges (2 from Ireland and 1 from China) have been checked for "genuine". I hope it's not easy to cheat. Right now I need to print and have no choice but to install the ink so I can start working. Fingers crossed I'm not offended by the purchase. Of course, it's somewhat misleading to post factory packaging on a product page if it doesn't say so. I don't mind buying OEM if I know it's OEM. Thinking about buying new, I don't like getting OEM. I don't print much in colour, but if the ink runs out too quickly I'll be sure to repost and downvote my review. Until then, fingers crossed UPDATE IN ONE MONTH: I can type! The packaging looked questionable but the ink cartridge worked and is still working a month later.
