I was skeptical but turns out they were wrong. These things, when properly inflated, provide excellent protection for bottles or pretty much anything you can put inside. I sent an expensive bottle of wine across the country and the bag was still inflated like the day I filled it. The only complaint is that there is a slight learning curve in where to attach the inflator and the inflator itself is not of the highest quality and it doesn't seem to deliver air but eventually it does.
