We bought this because we knew we had a 50/50 chance of being cool or not. If you read the reviews they seem good and who knows the details of the purchases. Were the expectations unrealistic? Was there any confusion throughout the process? Who knows, but here's what we can share: After being scammed multiple times by local sellers with Craigslist MacBook Airs ($250-$700 and 2013-2018), we decided to give Revain a try. Computer language is mostly a foreign language to me, so I told my husband what I wanted and he took it on. I have a small business and do volunteer work at the school. This basically means a light database entry, some web work, email, images and light editing, editing and creating documents etc. Description of our order: 13 inch Core i5 processor at 1.6 GHz, 8 GB RAM, 128GB SSD. That it was hard to know what year it was. First Availability Date: January 31, 2018. This leads us to believe that this was a 2018 MacBook Air for $614.99. Here's what we got: 13" (Early 2015) 1.6GHz Core i5, 8GB of 1600MHz DDR3, and we paid $614.99. Now I'm not exactly sure what all that means, but the only significant difference is the year. Which isn't a huge logistics deal for me and what I need it for. But it was a bit of a decoy and switch, deliberately left in the dark. Notes: When I first thought it could be 2018, very small external scratches seemed unacceptable from normal wear and use.Suddenly it was in near mint condition when we found out it was 2015.The charging cable was very annoying at first as at the end of the cable the located on the side of the computer was slightly frayed. It is also slightly bent. The end of the dowel was, I would say, sticky and lightly covered in lint, probably from someone's backpack or suitcase. But it still seems to work fine .Most Z It's been plugged in for a while now, but I've been using it without it for a while, and the batter seems to be working enough. All in all we are very happy and Revain Renewed worked for us and saved us. money in the long run. Hope that helps!
