Simply a solution for slippery carpets and to avoid tripping hazards. I use it on the carpet under the kitchen sink. Before using these grips, I would constantly clip my foot to the edge of the mat, which created a tripping hazard. So far they are working well to prevent this from happening. Easy to use - just peel and stick. In fact, each one has 2 parts and they are attached with velcro. One side stays on the carpet, the other side sticks to the floor. You can separate the top and bottom to remove the carpet and/or clean the floor. We'll have to see how they hold up when removed and reattached. At $8 it's good value. I would buy them again.
