I have been reading about irradiated gems containing radiation (I know, sounds crazy). I don't know where this gem is from or if it is United States regulated. I want to know how long it is allowed to sit after radiation before put in the hands of consumers. I also would like to know if the radiation levels are tested. It is a beautiful and well made piece. It looks and feels quality. I would love to change to five stars if I hear back from the company! However, I have no way to verify their claims. Until then I fear to even have it in my house. Wish I had known this before purchasing! Mine looks a little lighter.
