When I first used the brush it worked great. The second time I used it, the lowest power setting stopped working. Now the top setting works intermittently. I usually have to unplug it and plug it back in to get it warm. Sometimes it will flash red to indicate it's heating up and then flash blue to indicate it's not heating up. Otherwise it never flashes red. In addition, the temperature is not as high as before. Barely warm enough to straighten hair. Two stars for the brush design. I like the curvature of the brush. This makes it much better than a flat brush for my bob haircut.
