I use this when storing electrostatic sensitive ICs in plastic trays. I trimmed and dented the chips and then placed them in the tray. This foam is not as crumbly as others, but is strong enough to fully contain the ICs without bouncing or falling out. I'm able to insert the IC several times before noticing the foam coming off around the area where the pins were inserted. In this case I just move the chip around a bit to put it in its new position. I think it's about as good as you would expect from a conductive foam. This 24 x 12" foam board has gone much further than I thought I would. I am satisfied and will definitely buy again.
