Love this - it's a cheaper version of a very, very expensive product. I've used both now and I can't tell you there's a huge difference. This allows me to do all the same things and there isn't that much of a difference between them to justify a price increase. As others have said - it's not a "let's pull it out and use it" sort of thing - you'll need time to balance it properly and if you do it will do the job properly. I would like to use it more! I'm using a Canon DSLR with a Rode VMPR VideoMic Pro R with a Rycote Lyre Shockmount, using one of my Canon STM lenses. The only thing I have to complain about is the case that comes with it - it's small which is nice. But it requires you to completely disassemble this camera for storage, which will need to be rebalanced later. If you need to complete specific tasks over a significant distance, you can either leave the entire rig together, or disassemble it and start over. If you're working in a team, then takeaway is fine, but working alone gets harder!
