These are good clippers after changing the blade to a choice blade. This blade overheats and is generally not a problem if you're cutting fast and clean, but I'm not that fast. Wahl blades definitely help. The only thing I don't like is that the blade's reach is hard for me to merge with the half-spare. Please note that this set does not include a midfielder and I gave up the cloak after using it once. For domestic use and long hair, I recommend this excellent value for money. The clipper doesn't pull the hair (with a choice blade) but for more technical fades the reach makes it tricky, you can still do it but sometimes it's tricky to cut the line. For $30 I would buy again. I'm not a hairdresser but I've learned a lot from using them
