Item arrived as promised - same day delivery and well packaged. When I hooked it up to my HP work laptop and a USB-C hub, all the HDMI connections (2 monitors) worked with no issues. However, everything I plugged into the USB 2.0 and 3.0 ports (keyboard, mouse, webcam) didn't work. When I plugged my hub directly into my laptop everything worked fine, so I know it was an extension cord. So I ordered another extension plug which arrived within 24 hours and the seller had a label on the cord that said if USB 2.0 didn't work flip the jack and plug back in. I thought. Wasoooooo? This is madness. Of course, the new cable didn't work at first, but when I flipped it and tried again, it worked. So I plugged this extension back in and did the same thing when it didn't work ---- and just like that it worked! I have decided to keep both. Hope this helps you try the flip before you bring it back.
