I bought a size M for my 8 month old who is 29 inches tall and weighs 19 pounds. It fits him well, maybe a little big. I love that I don't throw away disposable swim diapers every time we go to the lake, but I honestly don't really think this little speedo will hold a breastfed baby with #2 slime very well, although it does quite is charming to him .
