I bought this product because it has loops for necklaces and bracelets. It comes with a hanger as shown in the picture, but each standard hanger will fit a different item. Transparent plastic bags open at the top without closure. Ideally there should be a small Velcro strip or tab. But I suppose that's something you could add yourself. The metal clasps that attach the organizer to the included hanger for hanging feel secure, as do the snaps on the side of the organizer that holds the necklaces and bracelets. The organizer itself is a paper-like fabric that does the job but shouldn't be considered too durable. I think an earring shank would easily pierce it. Before purchasing this organizer I was considering a much more expensive item that could be rolled up for storage, but it was triple the twelve dollars I paid for this one. A more expensive organizer rolled, and that's definitely a consideration. This can be rolled up, but the contents of the bags will most likely squirt out. I'll tie it between hanging clothes and carry it in a bag. I plan to seal the holes in the bags with clear tape to keep the items from spilling out. For the price this item is very good. This is useful and easy to show what decorations you have on hand. I don't want it to be a permanent solution, but for a dorm room - the reason I bought it - it's a good choice.
