We love this little quilt. It is also very soft after washing. We washed it first and it came out of the dryer like new. My daughter is almost 2 years old and needs a slightly larger blanket. She usually sheds the blanket, so we didn't want to spend a lot of money on a big blanket. It fit the picture perfectly and she seems to actually enjoy snuggling with it more than her current baby blanket. The width is about the same as the width of her crib mattress, and the length is from her shoulders to the foot of the crib mattress (when she rests her head on one end of the pillow). It's a blanket, but big enough for our purposes.
