I needed scissors to trim the hair around my husband's ears for his hearing aids. If the hair is too long, noises caused by friction are picked up by hearing aids and disturb the wearer. There are scissors to cut paper, scissors to cut fabric, and scissors to cut hair and you will never confuse them. This pair has a nice blunt end unlike the pair I received with the hair clipper set. This pair also features an adjustable screw tip for tightening. They are the same weight so they feel good in your hands. I am happy with them and the price.
