Although I live in Florida I bought this windproof ski mask because my wife keeps the thermostat at 52 degrees at all times of the day. We don't have a refrigerator at home because our food stays fresh without an additional cooling system. I took home a trophy venison six months ago this summer, but left all the venison fillets in a ziplock bag in our kitchen and they are stone cold. I am constantly cold, often lose feeling in my limbs and my firewood costs are out of control as I have to keep the fire burning all day to keep my house a little warm. My doctor says smoke inhalation is dangerous, but to hell with science. This mask has greatly improved my condition over the past few weeks. Although I have an oddly shaped head (wide at the base and narrow at the top), this mask fits very well. After taking a scalding hot bath at night and wearing a winter coat, I will wear this mask to dinner and my wife and son will no longer have to deal with the constant chattering of teeth and moaning from me. Surprisingly, my firewood bills have reduced by over $300 a month, even though I still spend about $800 a month on premium firewood. The only downside is that this mask scared my son to death for the first week and gave him horrible nightmares. However, a few nightmares are worth the warmth and comfort I get from wearing this mask at night. :)
