I have the thinnest iPhone 11 Pro Max I could find. Whenever I have to use the tension mount my phone is very difficult to fit in and sometimes it breaks and falls. That's why I bought this bracket. I already have the magnetic ring that comes with the mount in my car and it suits me perfectly. This adapter works well with this magnetic ring. I also have an iPhone 11 Pro (not Max) that I use with the DJI Osmo 4 and I put the magnetic ring directly on the phone instead of on the case. Because of this, even if I want to, I can't use tension mounts because the ring gets in the way. That's why I'm looking for such magnetic adapters. The mount comes with the magnets you need and you can mount it into the slim body instead of directly on the phone if you wish. The hinge on this one is really good. It's firm enough to hold its position but smooth enough to twist when needed. Great item for the price, # HIGHLY RECOMMEND
