My children (3 and 5 years old) were given these to fill stockings and they have been a huge hit with children and adults alike. Great for napping when they should be sleeping but throwing a party instead. One of them stopped working after two years so I checked the batteries (standard buttons that are very easy to reach) but they were fine. It turns out that there is a very strong magnet in the center of the wheel with a tiny metal spring attached to it. I think it fell on the wooden floor too many times. I was able to open it up and move the spring around with a regular Phillips screwdriver and reassemble it and everything quickly went back to normal. It looks like there's a circuit board in there, but it's just a piece of printed cardboard. Overall great toy.
