For the sake of full transparency and an honest review, I will admit that I have not actually had my baby yet. Instead I decided to give these things a test run on a night in which.”other activities” with hubby left me feeling sore. No judgment folks, we all know pregnancy can cause extra sensitivity! LolAnyways I can’t speak to these pads’ absorbency for obvious reasons, but O.M.G. I wish I’d had these after my first birth! I was stuck sitting on bags of peas after a 3 day hospital stay in which I even had to have a catheter. I was in PAIN and all other ice packs have seams or hard pieces of ice inside or have no good way to stay put, it’s all just horrible! But these wonderful things actually get REALLY cold. You can keep them in your purse and use whenever you need because all you have to do is give them a little fold to activate the cooling. They stick right on like any other pad and are actually SO SOFT. Whether your baby is kind to you in delivery or not, your momma bits are going to be in the very very least a little bit swollen and let me tell you, these pads are the best solution. Period. Buy them!
