I bought this charger in combination with two 6.0 Ah batteries. Very satisfied, I can charge one of these batteries from full to full in about 40 minutes. With a bar it takes less time. Based on that I think I will always have at least one fully charged battery no matter how much I use the battery. I have several Dewalt tools in the 20V range so I see them as a necessary addition to my system. If you are thinking about getting into this line of products I would recommend you just buy the tool and then two batteries and this charger. Most kits come with a "slow" charger.
