I have used various brands of coffee cup warmers over the past 20 years. I like to drink coffee in a 'real' mug on my desk (rather than an insulated mug) and I like to drink it hot. That's great. So far the best I've had. It has two settings (not an infinite number between 131 and 176 degrees). 131 degrees for those who like tasty and warm coffee but not too hot. 176 degrees - for everyone who likes it hot "straight out of the pot"! I use 176 when the cup is full and 131 when the cup is less than 1/3 full so it doesn't get too hot. I know it's crazy to think that the "too hot" option is an option with such a small heater. But this. But HERE'S THE FUN, you have to use the right mug. I like discount stores (Tuesday mornings, weird parties, etc. etc. Everyone has lots of mugs for a few bucks. Find a mug with a FLAT SMOOTH bottom. Like a saucepan for your stovetop. A regular coffee mug with a raised bottom doesn't transfer heat more than one pot on your stovetop unless the bottom is flat Good luck and have fun.
