These shoes are awesome! Each shoe has a hidden compartment, which is great because some products like this only offer it on one of the two. The hidden compartment can actually fit quite a lot! Obviously you couldn't fit something like a passport, but you can definitely fit some folded up money, some credit cards and even a key. As I wrote this (so I could provide actual details), I folded up 4 US bills, put in 2 cards and a large car key device (keyless - the kind that opens and locks your car with buttons) - that's really quite a lot to hide in ONE shoe! The more "bulk" you place in the hidden compartment, the more you will feel it when you walk around.The color is just the slightest bit darker than the image (very slight variation, some might not think it was different) and the shoes definitely do run large. I typically wear an 8.5 - 9, so I ordered the 8.5, but it was too big and I returned it and ordered a size 8. The 8 is actually still a tad bit large, but not enough to merit going lower.Besides being stylish, these are just not something someone who is trying to rob someone would usually look at. I definitely plan to use the secret compartments when I go to concerts, and when I'm anywhere where I need to be more cautious. I'm so happy with this purchase, definitely considering getting another color as well :-)!
