Lots of New for Radios

This RunningSnail radio's station reception is not as good indoors. There was a lot of interference in the weather transmission, as well as 1am at the station that I was able to intercept. FM stations worked better but some had noise. The light is decently bright for an emergency, but it's pinpoint accurate so you can't read with it. Bluetooth connected to my phone with no problems, but I didn't try the TF or Aux inputs. Setting up the features is a little tedious as they all launch via the BT button and you have to toggle between options. You cannot see the clock when using Bluetooth as only the letters BT are displayed. The sound quality is a bit tinny and the bass only comes through when you turn the device up really loud. The SOS function is decent and you can turn up the volume as needed. To be honest I chose it for its retro look, but in a pinch it won't be the first thing I reach for.

Pros
  • Sturdy Construction
Cons
  • Expensive
