I deal with all types of materials, chemicals and situations between work and wood. This band is lightweight and fits well. It was very easy to enlarge and the clasp is very secure. Nothing rattles when driving. It needed an easy connection so I could switch seamlessly whenever I wanted. The clips for easy fixation are made entirely of metal and are very reliable. The coating is scratch resistant. I'm more worried about it wearing down from chemicals and sweat. So far it has shown no signs of wear. I chose a regular deployant clasp over a butterfly clasp because I wanted it to sit flatter on my wrist. Butterfly clasps require a slightly looser strap or they can be uncomfortable. I haven't weighed it since I removed the links. I removed 4 standard links and a half link to get the correct size and fit. It meets or exceeds all my expectations and was great value for money.
