I've always heard great things about philosophy products, though I've never really had the opportunity to give them a try. So, I was super excited when the opportunity arrived to check out this eye revival serum-in-cream from their "hope in a jar" line.The serum arrived as ordered in a .5 ounce bottle that dispenses with a small pump. I appreciate that it dispenses just a little bit quite naturally and I didn't really have to be that careful with it.This serum is designed to make the eye area look smoother and more supple with 24-hour hydration. The evidence of effectiveness cited was a small study of 35 women aged 18-65.You apply the serum to a lightly damp face and massage it in for 30-60 seconds. You then rinse and pat it dry.The impact that I'm particularly impressed by is that my eye area is quite a bit smoother. I notice it throughout my work day when I've used the serum in the morning. It lasts all day. I naturally have a bit of puffiness around my right eye and this serum is doing a nice job of evening out that skin.The serum applies easily and smooths in without much of an effort. I can definitely feel the hydration. The key ingredient is an enhanced hydraluronic acid. It's noted as being fine for all skin types. I tend to have sensitive skin and I've not had any issues with redness or breakouts. There's also some elderberry flower in it - my guess is this is what gives it a very slight scent.While this seems particularly targeted toward women, I've used it as a 50+ male with positive results and I won't hesitate to keep using it. I'm seeing visible improvement around my eyes and I'm anxious to continue seeing how it improves by the time I've completed this bottle.Overall, I'm quite impressed and looking forward to trying other philosophy products.
