It's not that it doesn't work, but it WORKS. The problem is that HP has software that doesn't allow anything other than genuine HP inks. If you are computer savvy you might be able to work around this. I'm a bit of a techie but couldn't solve the problem. He started to print, and then the printer stopped him in the middle of the page. I once successfully printed an entire page when the printer didn't register right away and the ink worked. We had to switch to HP Instant Ink, which seems like an affordable solution.
