. Trailer Security Chain Holder. Our current holder is made of plastic and can be easily removed when uncoupling. A nice feature is that the chains stay attached to it. The downside is that it's plastic, so we know it will wear out and break over time, and that's likely to happen when we travel. I came across CURT 45806 and decided to give it a try. Installation wasn't as easy as we expected. The reason is that we are using a clutch tensioner so we don't have a lot of room to install the CURT. We ended up installing it but we didn't like its location so we removed it. I love this concept but because of our tensioner it just doesn't fit.
