I bought a new 3 node Linksys Velop system and decided to add 2 more nodes to further improve the signal in my home. I thought for quite a while about trying the "updated version" as it was a pretty big saving. I decided to give it a try. When I received the two knots they arrived in really strong packaging specially designed for them (but I don't think that was the original packaging). They look brand new with no stains, stains or scratches. You literally don't realize they aren't brand new. After purchasing the original set, I decided to contact Linksys to update the firmware. This should happen automatically, but for some reason this isn't the first time this has happened from what Linksys told me. So I contacted them and with their help updated the firmware on two updated nodes. I've been using it for a few weeks now with absolutely no problems. I would definitely update again!
