Did it for 3 years

I think 3 years is fine for a small food processor when it's fairly cheap. However, this one is quite expensive for what it is. It's difficult to use with a lot of things that need to fit perfectly and snap into place before it turns on. I'm sure it's a security feature. However, it was one of those plastic tabs at the bottom of the container that was broken and couldn't be repaired. In addition, with all these inserts/combs inside the container, it has always been difficult to obtain the cut product; The chopped onion, like most things, had to be removed with a spatula. It handled all the features fairly well and did better than most when shredding, but it has too many plastic parts that can easily fail and a poorly designed container on top. I do not recommend. Look for one with the smoothest possible interior surface and one with fewer or no small plastic parts to connect to the other.
