I used one of Turtle Tuff's waterproof heat lamps in a lamp on my bearded dragon tank. I had an extra bulb that maintained the proper warm-up temperature in the tank. The lamp struck and the bulb went out so I decided to see what was available as I didn't need a waterproof bulb. I found these bulbs and was a bit hesitant because of the price. I thought I would get what I paid for. I was wrong. This lamp is great so far. It heats up the heating zone much faster than the old lightbulb I used. I regulate the temperature with a thermostat and so far it still works, although the lights keep turning on and off when it reaches the temperature I set the thermostat to. I wish I had two.
