I pulled the trigger and ordered the rt81 after also considering the Uturn Orbit and AT LP120. I made the right decision based on the aesthetics alone. This table is great. Some customers say it's difficult to install, but it's no harder than any other player. Just be patient, carefully read the well-written instructions, watch the Fluance setup video on YouTube. You can do that! It's not difficult; It took me about five minutes. After a week of listening, the rt81 sounds as beautiful as it looks. I don't notice any speed issues, just a warm analog sound. Compared to my other console, the Pro-Ject Debut III with acrylic panel and Ortofon OM10 stylus, the sound quality is as good if not better than a more expensive setup. The auto stop function is another nice feature; Just be prepared for the drive to spin a bit before finally spinning down. For beginners, the rt81 is in a class of its own. If you're not into DJing and just want a high-quality, attractive home turntable, this thing won't disappoint.
