I wear size 71/2 in normal sports shoes. I bought them in size 39 and they fit like a dream. By the way, I have very narrow feet, not wide at all. These shoes came with pads and I had to buy SPD cleats for the course I'm taking. When I first used spiked pads my feet were shaky so I took the pad off and saw such a difference. The shoe itself is stable and my ankles feel supported. Another thing I changed was the laces, which I bought without the laces so I wouldn't snag and wrap around the bike pedal. I get compliments on these shoes every time I wear them. I spin almost every day and have no problems, but I only wear these shoes to class so can't speak for other activities. I like you very much! Keep in mind there are locking laces in the photo which I prefer to avoid snagging on the bike pedal. I bought them separately.
