Bags and purses are a matter of personal taste, but I love everything about this bag with two small exceptions. Good bags and their location. The front flap holds my smartphone (size 6x3 which is in a wallet) as well as other essentials - the Kleenex pocket fits perfectly in a pocket and small things (like lip gloss, breath spray or whatever) have another pocket, none of which delay quick access to the phone. The outer pocket closes with a magnetic button. Main compartment holds larger items like a Kindle, wallet, papers (not 8x10 when unfolded but closed). And on the back there is a flat zip pocket that is also easy to access. I like the wide straps but don't like how slippery they are. However, this could be replaced. The hardware feels solid and has twist knobs so you don't have to constantly deal with a twisted strap. Adjustable shoulder strap length from regular to short to extra long to carry crossbody. Not a fan of mottled colors because it almost looks like a rain-stained fabric with uneven drying, but obviously it's a pattern and it's subtle. The green is quite backpacky, almost a military hue, so it goes with almost anything, but borders on a little light in direct sunlight. The bag itself is very light, which I appreciate. Haven't tested it in the rain but it's shiny enough for water to drip off it, don't know if it will get wet but it will probably resist penetration. Absolutely worth the price in terms of quality. I liked it so much I bought a black one too.
