Now I can safely say that I am very satisfied with this product (I've had it for 10 months now). Two nights ago we survived a 6.0 magnitude earthquake in Napa, California, and this tape saved my 65 inch TV from falling off its stand. I can recommend this product without hesitation and it is probably a must-have for every large television. There are two things I love about the strap: 1) The material is very durable and I found it very easy to install. It also easily detaches from the wall if you need to move the TV for rear access or other reasons. 2) Mine is installed with just enough slack in the strap to allow me to tilt the TV for access. to the rear entrances/exits without unhinging. It gives me some confidence that the TV won't fall off the stand when I'm fiddling with things.
