I really liked these straws and thought they were cute with different colored straws but in fact only 2 out of 4 straws were multi colored. The other 2 were matte silver. I thought they would be good for traveling and carrying in my purse, which I did. What I don't like about these straws is that they are difficult to clean and the rubber tip that goes around the straw you drink from ends up smelling really bad if you don't take it off and wash it every time. Also, I noticed that when I used them in my Venti Starbucks drinks, they actually broke into the drink, causing a complete mess when I tried to get them out and then expand again. Just not tight enough when opening. I'll go back to cheap metal straws with a slight curve and carry them in a small purse or something.
