Review on 🏠 Optimized Search: Ware Manufacturing Critter Universe Small Pet Cage 3-Wall Unit by Brandy Robinson

I liked the idea of this cage but unfortunately I only got to figure out the practicality for a week before going back to my old mouse cage. I really should have known better but it was so cute I wanted to try it! I have two mice and they seem to enjoy crawling over different cubes and the cubes/wheel can be completely rearranged which is neat. No problem going up and down stairs, they built a little nest right in the top middle cube and it was nice for about a day. I have had mice for several years and have never had this bad smell problem. Literally the day after I put the mice in the cage, it started to smell. Most cubes have holes on the sides and bottom for mice to crawl through, but this also makes it impossible to store bedding on these tiers. Most of the mice's urine and feces end up on the bare plastic and stink to high heaven. Same problem with the wheel that needs to be used because the dice are too small for the standard wheel. When I cleaned it I found that it was just baking poop. It has a curved plastic bottom so everything flows to the center and stays there. you want it to fall). The cage also spills bedding off the wire walls, making a mess on the floor. To clean it (that's when I decided to switch back because I didn't want to do it again) I had to pull out most of the linens by hand (try tossing that huge tray in the trash) and then all the cubes and throw the blue tray in the tub to soak them before I can clean up the trash. All of this should of course be apparent in the picture, these were just things I didn't think of when purchasing this product. I can't imagine that even the most dedicated pet owner using this cage on a regular basis would need to be cleaned almost daily to keep from smelling. * The only real flaw with this product was the water bottle. It didn't have a ball seal like most bottles I've seen and the water just leaked out. I was able to use the mount that came with this bottle on my standard bottle to fix this problem.
