The sound quality is awesome, the application is rubbish. I'm not an audiophile so can't fully judge the sound, but at half volume I can hear it clearly, like in the kitchen from a back room during the day. These speakers fit in a much bigger room than I can afford so I put them in the living room. A lot of the reviews I read said I should add a subwoofer, which I did. I added a 100w Polk subwoofer and it sounds fantastic. However, the streaming capabilities were a bit odd to set up. The Play-Fi app is utter nonsense. It's not very user-friendly, and changing the volume from another room is cumbersome, as you either have to open the app and adjust the volume, or go back to the speaker and do it manually. Also, I have yet to get Alexa to play on the speakers. He sees them but just says they're offline when I try to ask him to play something. Half the apps on my phone can't see it. The only thing that seems halfway decent is Spotify. This is because you can choose the speaker itself within the Spotify app. Trying to get it to work in the Play-Fi app is useless. I'm not entirely sure why SVS saw fit to build the entire system around this application. Makes working with the system very cumbersome and painful.
