We received this mini router for our caravan (nüCamp T@B 320). It supports WISP, which allows us to connect to wireless networks in parking lots, hotels and other public places and then create a private network. In our teardrop trailer, we were able to create an intranet for our Chromecast TV, Chromecast Audio, and Google Assistant on our private network by giving the devices access to public WiFi. Essentially, our network remains isolated from other guests, providing us with a connected intranet with internet access. Tip: Make sure to only update the firmware using a wired connection. We did this wirelessly and locked the device. I was able to fix this issue fairly easily (a hard reset didn't restore the firmware) by simply plugging the ethernet adapter into my computer and an ethernet cable into one of the LAN ports on the router. I then manually connected to the router (by manually finding out my computer's IP address and the gateway's IP address) to download the firmware (you can download it from the GL.iNet website). After some initial glitches, the router starts the Google Chromecast network for audio and TV. while serving 3 iPhones, a lighter, a couple of Chromebooks and a Macbook. Best of all, if we are in a facility with no shore (AC) power, we can power this router from the teardrop trailer's DC batteries via one of the onboard charging ports.
