Great for people that have trouble typing shoes.

My son is autistic and has never mastered knots. Rather than traumatizing him making him learn a skill he was never going to be good at, we got him shoes with Velcro closures. As an adult, Velcro styles are severely limited and slip-ons aren't always appropriate. Someone at a show store suggested elastic laces. Is never heard of them but once I found these, it's been a godsend. His footwear options are almost limitless now and it makes it so much easier for the rest of the family.
