I bought this item because my laptop is considered a gaming laptop. I don't play games, I just liked the performance (specs) of my laptop. One problem that a gaming laptop can run into is the heat generated by all that power. Therefore, a riser is a good way to keep airflow consistent. They're just poorly designed, they keep slipping out from under the laptop, so I decided to give them an easier task, I'll put them under my desktop keyboard, still won't work.
