High quality wooden puzzle. These are 9 blocks with different images on each of the 4 sides of the blocks. The packaging says it's for 24+ months, I bought this for my 3 year old who loves regular flat jigsaw puzzles. It's not easy and not too difficult. The puzzle captivates my little one as he works with 6 different pictures. The wooden base is strong enough for the puzzle to sit on his lap. The only thing that could have improved this puzzle would be a small carrying case, but I find that to be essential for most children's toys. I filled that need with a thin plastic snap-top container from an art supply store. This puzzle has served us well on road trips and in restaurants!
